about

ENGLISH VERSION BELOW

HURRICANE SPRING 2055 to trzy kompozycje nagrane techniką cyrkulacyjnego oddechu za pomocą harmonijki ustnej, saksofonu tenorowego i piszczałek własnej konstrukcji. To krótki koncept album sugestywnie przywołujący na myśl opętańcze, rytualne tańce, jakby wprost wyjęte z niepokojących, dystopijnych wizji przyszłości.

Robert Knuth – nazywany szarą eminencją polsko-niemieckiej sztuki. Saksofonista, twórca filmów i fotografii, autor performensów i happeningów. Założyciel formacji Paul Pozozza Museum, Mary Lolo i Santa Rakieta, brał również udział w projektach Diffusion Ensamble i Knuth, Mazzoll & Arhythmic Memory. Jego prace znajdują się m.in. w kolekcjach Muzeum Narodowego we Wrocławiu, Muzeum Narodowego w Poznaniu i Museum of Modern Art w Nowym Jorku. Od 2008 mieszka w niemieckim Lipsku.

/////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////////

HURRICANE SPRING 2055 includes three works recorded with a harmonica, tenor saxophone and self-made pipes using a technique of circulating breaths. It’s a short concept album suggestively referring to frenzied and ritual dances, as if taken out of distressing, dystopian visions of the future.

Robert Knuth – called the éminence grise of Polish-German art. Saxophonist, filmmaker, photographer, creator of performances and happenings. Leader of bands: Paul Pozozza Museum, Mary Lolo and Santa Rakieta, member of many music projects, among others, Diffusion Ensamble and Knuth, Mazzoll & Arhythmic Memory.
